Enjoying a relaxing evening, Emma Watson was spotted arriving at a family member’s house last night (April 15) to celebrate her 19th birthday.

The “Harry Potter” hottie looked cool and casual as she toted a couple shopping bags, sporting a pink screenprinted sweatshirt, black yoga pants, and a pair of tan sneakers.

In related news, it seems Miss Watson has caught the eye of the folks over at Burberry, as she’s been named the face of Burberry Prorsum Autumn/Winter 2009.

But a rep from the company was hesitant to confirm any details. “The campaign is not yet finalized and once it is we don’t release any information until the official launch time, which would be around June of this year.”

Ever the BAFTA beauty, Emma Watson braved the rain as she attended the 2009 Orange British Academy Film Awards at the Royal Opera House in London on Sunday (February 8).

Wearing a lovely black Alice Temperley gown with intricate silver flower detail topped off with an embroidered black overcoat, the “Harry Potter” starlet happily posed for pictures and spoke with press on-hand.

On the red carpet, Emma said: “I love the Baftas. It’s amazing. It’s like a celebration of what I do so it’s incredible. It’s been fun getting ready, I’ve had my hair and make-up done and I got my dress.”

“The Baftas are very important. For us here, we don’t often have the support we need to get small British films off the ground so anything that promotes us, I think it’s wonderful,” she added.

When asked about her future plans, Miss Watson replied: “Obviously I’m looking at universities and reading lots of scripts and meeting with producers and trying to make a good decision about what my next move should be. I might be going to America – I’m looking at schools over there – but obviously I’m waiting to hear, to find out where I’ve been accepted and if I’ve been offered a place. So nothing’s been decided yet.”

140x105It’s been hard to be a Harry Potter fan this year. Not only was the next installment, “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” delayed until next summer, we were also shocked by the decision to split the final film, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” into two movies. It feels like we might be waiting for the cinematic finale longer than we waited for the book!

The split didn’t just surprise fans – it was unexpected to the film’s cast as well. When MTV News spoke to Emma Watson, we asked her if she could update us on how the film will be divided.

“I don’t know,” she replied. “I am as intrigued as you are. I am waiting at the moment to receive the script. It’s a tough call. I’m sure it will be some cruel cliffhanger.”

The delays of the next three films means that Watson will be saying a long goodbye to Hermione Granger, but she is emotional when it comes to leaving the character behind.

“It’s really mixed feelings,” Watson gushed. “It will be bittersweet. It will be very scary because it’s been such a massive part of my life. It will have been nearly over a decade that I’d been playing Hermione. It’ll be tough but I’ll be ready to go I think. I’ll be ready to take on other projects. It will be exciting.”
